Meet the Team

Del is one of the founders of Plumb Mate Ltd and arguably the best in the business Del oversees all operational matters with the business with over 36 years’ experience within the industry there is not much he doesn’t know.

Del enjoys spending his free time playing golf & watching football (too old to play now!!!) and socialising with family & friends del is also known for doing the occasional worm on the dance floor!!

Ian is one of the founders Plumb mate Ltd and responsible for generating sales within the business with over 30 years within the industry Ian also focuses on how to develop the business and driving the move to renewable technology.

Ian enjoys spending his free time with his children his family and as much time possible on the golf course as well as traveling

Claire is our Head of Management accounts Claire has been with us for 16 years.

Claire is responsible for running all of the finances within the business providing the directors with monthly PL cash flow forecasting and many more important financial matters which has allowed the directors to be able to develop and grow the business.

Below is how Claire enjoys spending her free time Music (visiting her daughter in Brighton regularly to see bands), cycling gym, nature (new found love of growing my own veg!) holidays and travel, helping my husband grow his new wedding photography business, family, friends and partying!

Lee is our Ipswich Branch Manager who has been with us for 11 years and within the industry for over 20 years and has unrivalled product knowledge and eye to detail Lee is responsible for all of the day to day running of our busy Ipswich branch and makes sure we offer the best customer service possible.

Below is how lee enjoys his free time.

Married to my soulmate and have two wonderful sons (sometimes!).

Love spending time with friends and family and particularly enjoy watching my sons with their respective football clubs.

I enjoy watching most sports and am an avid fan of both Tottenham Hotspur and the Miami Dolphins. (Both of which take the enjoyment out of watching sports!).

Big fan of films or a good box set series as well as enjoying an extremely eclectic range of music.

Also enjoy a good PlayStation session and am also a bang average guitarist, much to my annoyance!

Lisa is a key member of the team running our sales office, Lisa has vast industry experience and works at the highest standards making sure prices are updated quotations are sent out in time processing orders and dealing with large site projects.

Lisa enjoys spending her free time gardening growing vegetables baking walking spending time with her family and drinking wine !!

Gina works in our accounts department dealing with our purchase ledger and sales ledger dealing with supplier payments and customer payments Gina plays a vital role within Plumb Mate.

Gina enjoys spending her free time with my family, I am a trustee/volunteer for Ipswich Outreach Charity for the homeless/vulnerable and I also run a group once a fortnight for the soup kitchen. I enjoy traveling abroad and holidays in my touring caravan, I also enjoy sea fishing, shopping and eating out.

Josh has now been with us for 6 months running our ever busy Bathroom showroom Josh is responsible for planning and designing customer’s bathrooms and liaising with our trade customers to make sure everything runs smoothly from order stage through to installation.

Below is how Josh likes to spend his free time.

Currently renovating a 91 year old house that I and my girlfriend bought. Taking it back to bear brick and starting again with a 2 storey extension going the whole hog.

In terms of other hobbies or interests would be trying to playing golf on the weekends and sometimes partaking in tennis at a family friend’s court over the summer.

Nathan is our Trade Counter supervisor being new to the industry hasn’t held Nathan back and his attention to detail has been evident to see already building strong relationships with our regular customers and maintaining our high standards of customer service.

For the last 12 years I fulfilled a lifetime dream of back packing around the world taking up various positions teaching English sampling many different cuisines has led him to become a fine chef with Indian curries being his specialty I also enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and Nelly the dog !!

Ryan is our delivery driver covering both Ipswich and Hadleigh Branches covering all of Suffolk.

Delivering to site or private homes Ryan is very conscientious and helps where ever he can.

With his children watching them play football taking them swimming and socializing with friends and family playing pool and snooker and watching football (we won’t mention his team !!)
